Engine Swap Question

Have a 3.4 95 camaro 5 speed ......how much more would it cost to make it a LS1 compared to making it a LT1 and what would go into it?

you can buy my entire ls1 car for 6k and have a built trans and 12 bolt and full suspension to go into it :)

If you have nothing for either motor, pretty much the same. Just a little extra ls1 tax but if you hunt real good, you can find good deals.

This is actually for my car guys... Camvill will be working on it with me. what is the difficulty level difference... i'm judging mostly electrical issues correct? if so, what would they be.

if you havent bought any parts yet, it will require all the same stuff whichever one you buy.

your best bet is to find a whole donor car....and literally take it all out of one and put it right into the next....since you going 4th gen to 4th gen it will be bolt in for the most part....if your going to piece together parts your gonna need an engine, trans, probobly a rear, all wireing, a k-member and a whole bunch of other misc nickel and dime stuff

http://hpsalvage.com/ Go to swap tips.

The underdash wiring will probably be your only pita.
