So how bad have some of these calls been in favor of Green Bay!

The obvious fumble and challenge and they still got it wrong! Then the bogus roughing the passer hit to the head on Rodgers when nobody touched his head! Green Bay has gotten all the calls and challenges this season and it's pretty ridiculous.

the fumble and the hit on rodgers were crap calls. but matters not, blue wins

the football gods gave it back with that hail mary TD at the end of Q2.

I hope the Giants and their fans all get an STD but yeah...the calls were complete BS.

Their game with the Niners is going to be interesting. Smith is gonna have his hands full with the Giants D.

Yeah those officials were wearing green and yellow boxers under those zebra stripes today but the BIG BLUE won anyways.

So you're the one I should blame for that.... :bertstare:

SF doesn't play NFC-East teams well. This is going to be a disaster.

Really? This year we barely lost to the Cowgirls in OT, beat the Giants at the 'stick, and beat the Eagles at the Linc. I'm not saying that SF is gonna steamroll the Giants, but both teams are playing the best they have all year right now - should be a hell of a game.

Those two particular calls were terrible, and the refs forgot to call a penalty for the 900 late hits on manning but mysteriously caught that hit on rogers. this is going to be an absolutely great game and neither teams are going to steam train the other. giants had a rough season, lost some horrible games, but are healthy now and should do okay. the niners is a team i respect, have all yr because they are giving it their all week after week and pulling off big games. nobody picked them over the saints and look what they did. they have unbelievable talent and are a very good football team. in the end i stick with what i have in my blood and thats...big blue NY GIANTS!

Yeah, it was an odd statement to make, considering they beat every East team in the regular season (Except my cowboys :)), but I meant for them being "that good" those games were only one possession games; even against the Redskins, if memory serves me correctly. If you recall, the East was a train-wreck this season, but still gave the 9'ers a run for their money.
Beat the Eagles by 1.
Lost to the Boys by 3.
Beat the Gmen by 7.
Beat the Skins by 8.

And after the Saints game, the 9'ers didn't instill much confidence in me. They scored 14 points in the first quarter off of Saints' turnovers. Yes, great defense had something to do with it, but so did poor judgement on the Saints' part. The 9'ers went 3 full quarters without getting into the endzone again, until the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter. Whereas the Saints kept getting into the endzone at least once a quarter, after the First.

The 9'ers are certainly a good team, but I just don't think they're as good as their record says--Kind of like the Broncos, but for the sake of this thread, I won't mention "his" name. They are a GOOD team that has "squeaked by" and caught some good breaks that have inflated their record and perception.
(Double checked here, before publishing this post, so as to have some support behind this argument: http://www.nfl.com/teams/schedule?team=SF)
--With that said, they would steam-roll my Cowboy team in the playoffs.

I hate the Giants, (and I'm going to have to hear flack from all of my friends about this for another year or two if they advance to the SB), but I feel they have the experience, the talent, the urgency and the consistency to beat this 9'ers team Sunday.

Frosty 01-17-2012 05:23 PM

I think the Giants win but I hope I'm wrong....

JL8Jeff 01-17-2012 08:37 PM

SF/Giants should be a good game. Ravens/Pats should be interesting to see if the Ravens D can rattle Brady and we know the Pats D isn't very good so the Ravens might score enough to keep it close.

I clicked this link and said "Oh, great. I'm so sick of these Hitler vids." But, it turned out to be funny. NSFW language, I suppose.
