1998 vortech 350 complete great engine to rebuild the motor was taken out of a 3500 van the price is 400 firm i know the heads cost that much alone not looking to sell just the heads

Doesn't matter what the casting is. Circle track guys don't care, neither should you lol!
Shop told me the castings flowed just about identical, some 906 heads had hardened seats though. An hour with a dremel can quickly make the 906's out flow the 068's.

Oh really thanks for the info. Now just to find a pair of heads not so easy

And just for the record, they are probably 906 heads. Almost every heavy half tons (oxymoron but I mean SUVs) and 3/4+ ton trucks are 906s.

I may be interested but don't know if I can put the money together atm. Was initially looking at pulling a Vortec from Harry's in PA but unsure about whether its worth it.

I'd love to but I picked up Matt's (88W-S6) GTA and am rebuilding that motor now, if I have anything to spare I'd make an offer so I have one for the 84 as well, but I don't want to make an insulting one.....

I'm flat broke til next paycheck, and even then I'll be putting the GTA on the road. If you want you can tell me what you want to get for it and I'll see if I can scrape it together at the beginning of next month....
