pulling the wiper blade arms off?
trying to get the whole arm off????
cant see any tabs holding it in.i took of the 10mm nut and now i cant see anything holding it on.tried to pry it but i'm positive somethings holding it on.:?:HELP! |
The post from the wiper transmission has splines that the blade meshes to. The easiest way I have found to remove them without damaging anything is by using a top post battery cable remover or something similar. I think they are available cheap at local parts stores.
looks like this http://www.amazon.com/Lisle-54150-Ba...5876969&sr=8-2 |
push on arm down towards window then pull up a lil, then push down again. Should break splines free.
if not, you can spin nut on a couple threads , then tap on top of it with a small hammer to shock it loose. |
