LS1 front brake conversion for LT1

I did it over the weekend. I got LS1 front spindles with calipers (nice and painted also) for $200. The guy did an awesome job painting them and everything was rebuilt.

Here is a picture of them after the install:

I also got stainless lines

So, if you have an LT1 and hate the crappy front brake setup, this is a great modification, and easy to do.

All you need is:

LS1 Spindles
LS1 Calipers
LS1 flexible lines (or stainless, which I recommend)
Rotors/Pads obviously (I went with OE, the drilled/slotted are not worth it)
An alignment after the install

Very good mod, I wish I did it sooner. The front caliper design on LT1s are such garbage. The pins were dumb, and a PITA.
