Solid motor mount/tubular k question

I bought spohn solid tubular motor mounts and a spohn tubular k member with lsx Mount pads.

Now when bolting the motor mounts to the subframe or to the motor is there any gasket or something that should be used in between. Just seems odd to have two solid pieces of steel bolted together.

any help/experience is welcome

What part of "solid" "motor mounts" led you to think there was a gasket....?

Very seldomly you have two pieces of metal bolted together without some sort of gasket.

I'm not looking for a bushing or a gasket to absorb any vibration. I fully understand what I am in store for.

Corrosion would have been my main concern. Since I don't fully understand powder coating I don't known if it can be worn down enough to bare metal again from vibration. I'm sure something else would go prior to anything like that happening but why not ask

No doubt, but, very seldom do you see OE solid mounts (Jk you don't ) so you are off the map in terms of modeling off OE stuff.

I am not that familiar with LSX mounts, but you have a aluminum block that mounts to block and then a bolt that connects it to the K member?

Most aftermarket is still modeled after OE in this case no lol

But the aluminum to iron isn't an issue either because it will be a cast iron block going in as well.

Still awaiting delivery but I'm assuming it is going to be a bolt and nut on the motor mount to kmember and normal hard ware to the motor I assume.
