Replacement vin tags

Does nj offer replacement vin tags under any circumstance? Reason I ask is my 80z has rust in the ds corner cowl. The vin tag is pretty crusty and the very last digit fell off. If I can't get one then screw it I'll leave it but I'd like to get a new solid one if it's possible

I think nj would just issue you a new vin. Best bet is to call them and ask.

I'll call them during the week. I just hate going through them for information, so much inconsistency. Was hoping to see if anyone on here actually did the process
