CJCFO April meet
 

hey gang,
the second tuesday of the month is the 12th. who is plannign to attend the cjcfo meet?
are we going to fudds this month or did that get switched to HI Ribs in pennington? dunno if anyone ever really made a decision on that.
either way i plan to be there.

I'll try again this month. Either location is fine by me. Wife used to work in Pennington.

Is Hi Ribs right off 31? What other stores is it near?

on rt31, north bound side. it is in the pennytown shoppign center jsut north of hopewell.

If it's HI I might show up (if I don't have this job that is). I haven't been there in ages, would be fun ;)

I'm up for HI Ribs. If we get a lot of people we might need to contact them and reserve the back room area or something. So who else is definitely in?

It's in my event planner! Actually I don't have one so if it isn't too much trouble, somebody give me a buzz the day before or the day of to remind me :) .

I don't think I'll be going. I get out of work at 6 so I'd probably get there around 7 or 7:30 depending on traffic. Too much driving, sorry.

we don't get started til around 7 usually. hell if the weather is nice we sometimes meet up around 6:30 and don't eat til after 8. lol
hopefully everyone can make it out.
fasterthanyou, i hope you get your car together so you can make it out. i would love to see my hood runnign around on teh streets again :P

It's still HI Ribs as far as I know. I'll pass it on to others in the CJCFO that normally do not frequent these boards. As for parking, let's converge towards the far end of the lot since there may be a few of us at this event.

Is rt. 31 the same road I would take to get to Fudds?

I might actually be able to make it, but wont be their till around 8-9.

i would think the end further from the old animal area would be best. not too many people park down there so we can easily all get spots together.
yes alex, you would want rt31 south. the pennytown shopping center that hi ribs is in will be on your left.

Rt. 31 is the road he wants, but it isn't the same road that you take to get to Fudds.

Why cant we have meets on major highways like the north does?

Al, it's like less than 10 minutes from 95S.

It's pretty much all major highways to get to Rt 31.

Where abouts do you live? Â*I can get you there pretty easy from like 571 to 195, and no wild goose chase.

all you have to do is go like you are heading to matt's house. a few exits before matt's you will see one for RT31. go to teh right at the top of the ramp and that will put you on rt31 north. follow the signs for 31n around the pennington circle and a few miles up on the right hand side you will see the pennytown shopping center. big ass parking lot hopefully with a bunch of us there already.

I live due east of Ewing. I take 195 all they way out there, then onto 295 south (or is it north?) to 95 north (or is that south?) Im not sure exactly why a road goes from north to south like that.

Anyway...31? Ok, thats like the way I go to Firkin.

Except go AWAY from Firkin :)

And yah, the 295N to 95S thing is ****ed up, but it makes sense if you think about it, since it's not 95N at that point, it's heading S. :shrug: took me many years to understand the concept myself, heh.

Al, just show up at my house if you want, and I'll cruise up to HI Rib with you. That way there are no worries of you getting lost ;)

Someone just meet me at Firkin, and Ill follow you over. That, or I just take a right instead of a left on 31...

....of course you did. It's prolly easiest for you to make the right onto 31 North and just cruise up. It's only about 5-10 mins from the 95 exit on the right side. The shopping center is a pretty good size, so you shouldn't miss it.
