for standard or remote mount you can tap into any available pressure side oil source. the remote mount will require a a supplimental pump to run the oil back to the engine.
there are sources for oil next to the oil filter, rear of the block, and there are places you cna even drill and tap if you want.
LT1's have lots of oil available.
