before you rule out remote mounts, heres what i can say..........having the oil lines and intake tube definetley help. you'd be amazed how much cooler everything runs which amounts to alot less wear and tear on the engine than a normal front mount adds. you only lose an un-noticable amount of boost and the lag is comparable to most front mounts. the STS kit is a bolt-on and comes off just as easy if you ever sell the car or want to use it on another F-bod with the same engine. there's one guy with a profile on STS's site that is making 522hp at the wheels through the stock exhaust with stock heads. they are incredible units and run roughly about $4000 for a 5psi kit. i'd highly recommend it for the ease of install and the noticable power difference.

Totally understandable! I have looked into an STS kit, we have a member on the Boards 2000OrangeSS running a well supported STS kit.
