makes alot of sense when you put it that way. there is a guy selling a full kit on ls1tech for 2800 dollars. i also read on ls1tech that because of the increase turbo lag and because there is no increase in heat in the engine bay that it is much more easier on the engine. which is important for people like me who probably would run the turbo with a stock bottom end

if it is a complete kit, that's a hell of a deal! and there is less turbo lag than you'd expect something running all the way from the back of the car to have. they are designed to run with the stock bottom end and can be upgraded later on. if you have the cash for it, i say jump on it if you want an easy bolt on mod that will definetley increase power.
