well, yesterday while shopping for a system for my gf's car, we ended up at 6th ave electronics. Turns out an old friend of mine works in the car stereo department, so we chekc it out. We got a kicker box w/2 12s for 1/2 price and it sounds awesome. but then i asked him about choices of subs for my denali and what was new out. well, JL just came out with their W1 line of subs. i also looked at their w7 12" but i wasnt thrilled, but the w1's...dahm that thing pounds. the single 12" comes in a large ported box that slams hard as hell. i was sold, i'm going back next week to pick it up. Once i get it in my truck, i will probably buy a second one if i can figure out a nice way to arrange them. My friend, the salesman couldnt believe i would consider putting 2 of them in a vehicle. i cant wait, i love bass and i havent gotten to upgrade my car stereo in years, and i havent even heard my ss setup since july. next week i'll finally get to break **** again.
