Ok... out with the Monsoon and in with the new. Im yanking the entire sound system, amp included. 4 out of 6 speakers were blown out and removed by me over the winter... and now my last 2 speakers which happened to be the 4"ers, were living on borrowed time and blew out, leaving me with NO MUSIC AT ALL. Not only are these speakers, amp, and wiring getting ripped out, I mind as well go for the caboodle and finally get me an aftermarket unit. Im going all Alpine, cuz thats what I've usually gotten for all my vehicles, and the quality is great.
Gonna get 4 SPS171A's for the doors + sides, 2 SPS10C2's for the trunk ... as for the unit, I'm still looking/debating between them, but as of now i'm leaning towards the dehp6800mp Pioneer unit. I'll think about adding 10"ers w/an amp later, but for now, I just need them for my Sirius radio that I'm paying @$20/mo for listening to complete silence. Any speaker suggestions/ opinions / experiences welcome
