You mean fan switch (like on the 3rd gens). That is probably not a good idea for the actual CTS.

I think the ECM completes the ground side of the relays in that car, so it should not be hard to ground that circuit. Does your car have 2 relays or 3 for the fans (does one fan turn full speed at lower temps, or both at slower speeds).

Why do you even want to do this? Do you have a cooling problem or is this for cool down at the track?
