I definitely need to do a full tuneup on the motor. I went to check the timing when I got home and it appears somebody put the wrong timing cover on it and had to bend the timing tabout of the way to clear the balancer. The 375hp motor got a larger balancer and different timing cover. The HEI distributor could use a new cap, coil and rotor and new plug wires too. Then I can set the timing(I hope) and look at the carb settings. It's still fun to drive the way it is right now. I did adjust the headlights when I got home too. But now I have to clean all the bugs off the front of the car.
