Billy, I've tried beating the hell out of it with a rubber mallet, to no avail. I even used a mallet and chisel to try and cut through the old gasket, but it's sloooooooow going. Need something faster just so it doesn't turn into an all day affair to install a throttlebody.
And Jeff, I replaced the IAC only a few years ago. I'm a cheap sumbitch and don't wanna replace it again.
