That's an excellent idea. Get the date and $$$ finalized, then a significant deposit, enough to keep you from walking away. I am sure if we were the only one's there, a deposit would be required up front. I doubt the coffers of the board are overflowing to the extent they could front that sort of cash, nor should they have to. Or do like other clubs do, require full payment upfront, but give a $40 or $50 discount if you pre-register some specified time (a month?) in advance. If you don't, you pay full price.
