As long as the sun is out and the wind isn't terrible, just having cars running down the lane is what warms the track up more than anything else. So if it is cold it will be more about getting 30+ cars out there hot lapping than anything else. If that first layer of spring rubber will start to lay in even a little, you will see ET's drop a ton in that cold air.

It'd be nice to be able to hot lap the car. My trans likes to run a lot smoother when it's hot so having the car at operating temp would actually help me.
