Senior engineer at my work took off early to go by his new Porsche and not bother to tell anyone. Still put on his weekly timesheet he worked 8 hours that day.... We are paid salary but keep track of our time through various project billing codes. The next day, I casually asked him what the billing number was for " I left early and went to buy a Porsche"?
He didn't like that.... good thing he answers to me
