I also started out with a loudmouth. I turned it into a borlamouth before getting longtubes to quiet it down some. It is still very loud though. Search KIRKEVIL or BORLAMOUTH on youtube and you can listen to my setups before and after LT's. You really cant go wrong with a catback and LT's since they deepen the tone and give it a good bark. I like the sound of magnaflow catbacks with bolt on cars, but its just personal preference for sound and stainless systems.
I got tired of loud all the time and I ended up getting a hooker aerochamber catback (one of the quietest aftermarket), and put an electric cutout after the Y. Best of both worlds.
I forgot to mention in my post earlier that you will get a SES light from running race headers. It wont effect performance, I drove my car for over a year with it on after headers.
