if your gonna have it ported, trick is to use a 1/8" drill bit and drill 4 corners through intake manifold, gasket to heads. this way when ported the intake and gaskets are port matched and gives you a locating "pin" so it matches up perfectly when installed.

F.Y.I.: you should just buy a FAST LSxr intake , then buy the rest of the parts to complete a lsx motor for it. You can probbly get $100 for that boat anchor you got from the recycling yard!
