Yeah, this in itself was a bit of a choke. The guy hits 85% of his fieldgoals during the regular season then hits 1/3 and the two misses are relative chipshots for an NFL kicker ie 40-45 yards for each.
If he hits both they theoretically win.
If he hits one they are down 21-19 and vick doesn't need to throw a TD at the end to win.
I would say that if the Eagles don't qualify as choking then Akers surely does.
