If they arent to bad wet sand and polish them out... then get laminex covers for them they'll look like new and you wont have to worry about the sandblasting effect again. When they get dingy looking just peel the laminex off and put a new sheet on. Few of my clients who do tons of highway driving do clear bra's with laminex on the lights and their front ends look almost new with 100k plus miles.
