Allow me to clarify. I am assuming that you want to do this for a few reasons, with one of them being that you want the 155 speedometer.
The engine or trim level did not set what speedometer the cars got.
You could get a Z28 with a 115 speedometer. This was because of the speed rating on the OE tires. I'm just warning that if you get a cluster out of an LT1 car, sight unseen, you may be getting one with the lesser numbers.
And regarding the tach: aftermarket tachs can be set up for 4,6, or 8 cylinders depending on some minor adjustments. They make tach adaptors that might allow you to leave the cluster alone (if you don't want to mess with it) and just add a box to correct it under the dash (however I am not certain).
