I also see Gotham going out of business. Once that happens, A similar company(maybe one such as "Big Apple Exotics") will pop up eventually with many of the same higher-ups, just not the same C.O.O., if indeed he is the father of the 28 y/o.

If this were a normal joe, yes. In this case, no way. This might disappear completely.
