Come tax time, I'm sure mechanics can do their own taxes, but I bet some of them take them to accountants like me. Why? Because I can do it quicker and more efficiently.

But I mean come on, some basic stuff like, oil changes, replacing a tire, jumping a car... this is something that everyone should know. Jumping a car... you get jumper cables, positive to positive and negative to negative... how difficult is that? lol Â*:P

hey youd be suprised...when i was like 18 i got a flat on my buick regal and needed my dad to come out and help me change it...when your young and dont have someone to teach you these things or your friends just werent into that your not gonna be into it...i dont think i changed my own oil till i was like ~20 and now ive swapped heads/cam, installed a blower & do my own tuning so i think ive graduated for the most part. Bottom line is dont bust on the kid, why not show him around a car...if I didnt have a hand holding mine through some stuff I dunno where I'd be.
