Another update....
Apparently its a very common dodge truck issue. I finally ended up searching the correct terms and got more than enough results to numerous threads online with the exact issue. The common suggested fix was to first shift into reverse or drive, and then let the truck run at least 10-15 seconds before letting off the brake and driving away. Something about the pump not building pressure in park normally, i dunno, but its not just me having this problem. And its more common with those who don't drive the truck for days/weeks at a time, exactly like me.



So for now, this problem is solved.


...now to look into the Killer Dowel Pin, and my strange turbo whine....
