Sorry...I missed the "future mods" line....
Is that the cam that you have now, or one that you are looking to get?

The aluminum L98's a good heads, and with a port and polish, they flow about as well as some of the basic aftermarket heads. If you want aluminum, they should be the first ones you look at.

 | Ahh, you found a 9 bolt?

Personally I would go for more gear than that, but it's still a big improvement.

And I would def. go with a bigger cam....those lift numbers are practically stock!!!! Look for something with similar specs but lift in the .480 or .490 area. That will make a nice cam for that car.

I'll play with it on desktop dyno later for ya, see what I come up with.

Those cam specs don't check out. With the specs you posted the valve overlap would be 88, not 80. The formula is valve overlap = (in adv + ex adv)/2 - (LCA * 2) = (300 + 308)/2 - (108 * 2) = 88Maybe you ment the LCA was 112 which would result in a valve overlap of 80 and a lot more streetable.
As for power between 380 and 420 depending on the port job. The L98's are inferior to the vortec heads and with the lift of that cam I'd seriously look into vortecs if you don't already have an intake manifold. As for the intake, get an RPM at least. In ever test so far the RPM intake has made more torque EVERYWHERE compared to the performer.
Then the rear gears... depending on your 6th gear I'd go with at least 3.73's. If it's the .5 OD then 4.10's.

Ummm....im not sure here but im getting a little confused on between what you have done and what you are going to do....I dunno bout you but id think that carb is a little too big for what youve got. What modifications do u have right now including pistons, heads, cam, exhaust, etc....and get rid of those 2:73's!
 and yes....NITROUS! J/K

3.73's at least and a 125 shot of nitrous and a few suspension mods and your car will be a low 13 high 12 car easily
