				Seatbelt recall help.

Does anyone work at a GM dealer, or know anyone who can help me get my seatbelts taken care of? They do not retract any longer, and no GM dealer around here is helping me, they all give me the runaround.

I'll take a look on the parts computer to see if their still available. I was looking for buckles for my car awhile ago and it seemed like a lot of the parts were discontinued.

The fronts didn't have any pricing information available which usually means there going discontinued. The rears are $70 each through my boss. And all of the buckles are discontinued. The parts program only gave 1 number for the fronts and rears, it does not look like they're L/R specific.

There are a few places you can order GM parts through that will give you just above dealer price. I would order from one of them instead of the dealer. The only one I can think of is GMpartsdirect.com but I've seen people on here post about better places to order from.

yes, I am the one with the blue camaro that loves fire.
I am not looking to buy seatbelts, as they are under recall. I am looking for this safety recall to be honored, and was hoping someone or their friends could help make this go a little smoother.

Not sure how they would look up a recall for an older car. The GM Vin inquiry system only works back to the mid 1990's. If you send me the VIN number I could try to look it up but I doubt it would work. If you have the recall number I could probably get more information about it.

the problem here is dealers refuse step 2. I have brought them the papers and campaign numbers and all. I need someone who knows how to do their job, and is willing to do the right thing.
