Explorer is officially old

The Exploder hit 100k. Only casualties thus far are the lights for the shifter and 1/3 of the speedometer backlights.

Yes, it was dubbed that 4 years ago by someone else and the name stuck. And Explorer Sports were the 2 doors

Honestly it is pretty much identical. Still stiff and solid riding. No creaks/rattles except for my loose stuff. Trans/motor feel the same as well.

The stock wheels have the white corrosion garbage starting somehow, and the paint has always been a little thin for my tastes as it's very easy to get a nick, but it has been that way since day 1.

Yeah 4 door. They stopped making 2 doors in 05. In 06 they changed the body to look like mine, discontinued the 2 door and manual transmission options.

the new GC/Durango are GREAT trucks. obviously build on the same platform, but working for a dealer i get to take them all the time. and most of the time when i go to lunch or have to run some were during work i take a car off the lot, and 75% of the time its a Grand Cherokee. sadly, they like to keep me away from the SRT as much as they can. ...but i find my ways.

and the exploders at 100k. time to take it wheelin

I rolled 114k on my 2006 Vue last week, but I can't say the same about my car. It sounds like the car is rattling itself apart! Good mark for Ford there!
