it definitely has more body roll...I'm not gonna try and say it doesn't. It can still handle some pretty sharp maneuvers. It helped get my 60' down at the track though.

went from a best of 1.90 to consistent low 1.8's with a few 1.81's.

BUILD A RACECAR out of your car... you have the down time now to do the engine... just do it and drive a beater around... depending on how fast my car is when im done... i might just make it into a race car and cage it and stuff... if its that fast i dont know how fast its gonna be yet... would like mid 11's but well just have to see...

ever drive one without a front sway? its not bad at all, when i run stock wheels/tires i can go around on off ramps with no problems, just cant pretend im mario andretti.

I do remember seeing a vacuum line there too. Don't remember for sure what it is but my bet would be windshield washer fluid related.

Yeah, it's defiently worse but not god awful. When I broke both "ears" off of my front sway the car handled worse but not dangerously so. When I fixed the problem (new bar) it handled noticibly better. Unless you are going to the track a lot I'd leave it on, but that's just me.

I think that vacuum line goes to a reservoir for vacuum that helps control some of the vents for the heat/AC inside the car. Has anyone just tried disconnecting the front sway bar for the track to see what the weight transfer improvement is in 60' times vs removing it altogether? That would interesting to see the affect of disconnecting vs the weight removal. And if you really want to get some weight off the nose, get rid of that boat anchor!
4 cylinders of fury and weight reduction! And you can run a fart pipe!

Here's the HVAC vacuum diagram. I think that vacuum line goes to either 37 or 38 in this diagram.

I agree with the sway bar off its fine, but at higher speeds 100+ hold on a little tighter...

I drive my 96 with no sway and with skinnies and I wouldn't say it's safe but I've done it for 2 years and am used to it. With that being said, ask jersey TA what happens when you have to swerve at high speeds with no sway bar when someone cuts you off
