'08 LSx Shootout???
they are doing a lot of talking on LS1Tech about the LSx shootout making a return for '08. i know i had a blast down in memphis and i plan to go back.
i am sure Redgar, Anonymous, demonic00bird, and LS1LT1 will back me up when i say the long drive was totally worth it.
i am looking to race this time around. anyone else interested?

timmay, as of the new year i wont be on the day shift anymore, so ill be higher up the totem pole to get my days off approved, so as soon as they announce the date ill apply and see what happens.
as of now i have to put in for this, the east coast nats, and a couple nascar races. other than that its the single day vacations i have to plan

there is a lot of talk about rules and new classes on LS1Tech. nothing official yet, but everyone is clamoring for a real entry level heads up class. i would be down for that. i would get killed running a bolt on car, but it would be fun

blowing down the highway in a convoy = 70-75mph.
it is the easiest drive you could ever imagine to get all the way there. other than the gas stops it is 100% highway until about 4 miles from the track

I was going to do the Hot Rod Power tour again, but just found out that the week of the power tour I have to Recertify all my credentials again. So I may be game for this myself depending on the dates. My ride is going to TTperformance in a couple of weeks once all the parts arrive so I am getting a nice little power boost to make my car as fast as it looks lol. Should be fun for the track!!

You'll see Pete "bspz28" @ LI Auto Transport taking care of driving the Team TTP trailer down there, you can waive to the Kerminator or to me 30000 feet above your head flying down
