so your saying that the longer oil lines are beneficial? am i the only person worried about one of those lines getting damaged and causing severe damage?

as long as they are routed right, there won't be any problems. it's a steel braided line. and the long oil lines are beneficial in that they cool the oil coming back from the turbo.

makes alot of sense when you put it that way. there is a guy selling a full kit on ls1tech for 2800 dollars. i also read on ls1tech that because of the increase turbo lag and because there is no increase in heat in the engine bay that it is much more easier on the engine. which is important for people like me who probably would run the turbo with a stock bottom end

I believe there are some turbos(not many) that are self contained & dont need an oil feed line. Not sure how dependable they are but they are out there.

if it is a complete kit, that's a hell of a deal! and there is less turbo lag than you'd expect something running all the way from the back of the car to have. they are designed to run with the stock bottom end and can be upgraded later on. if you have the cash for it, i say jump on it if you want an easy bolt on mod that will definetley increase power.

i would but since i dont got the cash, its gonna wait. a couple other kits going for similar prices too. i would love one with a front mount intercooler and an electronic boost controller.

I <b>hate</b> mufflex. When I needed a muffler (that i bought) and new catback, (without asking me) they threw on a 3'' I pipe. Keep in mind that the car was a 3.1L. Ummmm flow issues? And I was charged $250.

Did you tell them specifically that you wanted a certain size pipe? If you did, then I would take it back and have them put the correct size on it. If not, then it's your own fault. 3", 3.5", and 4" is all they stock for F-bodies, because that's what they use on their cat-back systems.
