hey whats up

hey there, im new to the forum and new to owning an f-body. i just bought a 96 camaro with the 3.8 v6 for 700 bucks. three things on the car needs to be fix which im in the process of repairing. two fuel injectors are either bad or need major cleaning, but im replacing all of them since im taking them out anyway. the other things are very minor, driver window needs to be put back on its track and a few easy dents to repair. I'll post up pics either later tonite or tomorrow.

Welcome to the club!

Coincidentally, we have a new sponsor that does injector cleaning, and they are offering a discount to NJFBOA members: http://www.njfboa.org/forums/showthread.php?t=37603

as for now its just gonna be my daily so i can get more things done to my truck, but i may lower it alittle for better handling and get a nice set of rims for it. eventually i would like to work up the 3.8 and may supercharge it for a nice street/strip vehicle.

Doesn't work in an F-body without firewall modifications. There are other roots blowers that can work though.

Lots of guys are making big power with turbo kits....

As for the s10, i have two ideas for it just have to decided which to go on.
The first plan is to shave the door handles and tailgate handle and install air ride on it so i can lay it out and do some draggin. if i do that then i'll keep the 2.2 motor in it and work it up alittle just for some occasional fun but it will mainly be a show truck. Now the second plan is dropping either a 350 in it or find a 409 to drop in and do a nice pro-street setup on it. But there might be a third plan where the two get combined but have the air ride setup be easily interchangable with coilovers so i can have a v8 and run down the track but then when i go to shows have the air bags put back in so i can lay it out. (And yes the truck will have the pro-street look with the skinnies up front and wide ass mickey thompson sportsmans tires out back even with the air ride.)
