Bikes coming along real well by the looks of it Triple. Nice work! How hard are you cranking down those bolts holding the wheels? Cant believe that broke. Looks like you'll be ready soon though.

Thank you.
It snapped when I was loosening the axle. On my bike its 65 lb/ft for the front axle. It wasn't crazy tight though.

I'm not sure what his name. I'll ask my friend for his number.

De-winterize? Whats that mean? I rode my bike all winter
I just put on a new rear tire on the bike, but its off Insurance till Friday. I switched companies and there was a lapse in coverage on the bike until the cars kick in on the 15th.
I've been obsessing over the new European Yamaha R1, the white one with the red frame
You guys have to head north one of these days for some real riding.

I'm up and running too. I just need a little notice because I have a wife and kid. Not 19 anymore. Responsibility stinks.

I'm 29, I kind of have an idea what you mean 7R...
Well, I put about 6k on my bike this past winter to give you an idea how much I like riding.

33 here Nice miles for winter. I admit, I put mine away from Dec-Feb. None of my friends ride in winter and riding alone in the cold sucks to me. If I'm not comfortable, I'm not riding. I make up for it the other 9 months. I see this weekend is rain. Maybe if next weekend is nice we can all plan something?

Funny, I was at Xtreme Machines on Sat w/ a buddy looking to buy a bike.
I was there around 12pm... Maybe you saw me... I had a Silver/Blue Busa outside w/ spikes on the front.

Thats funny! I was there 30min before closing unfortunately. I think 3:30? So we looked around and had to leave. They were cool though and never actually asked us to go. My wife was looking at helmets 10min after they locked the doors and noone rushed us. It was nice. A lot of bikes hanging out there. Seems like a cool place to meet up. Now if they only put a food place inside we'd be set! Did your friend pick up a bike? Whats he looking at?

As far as food, there's a Subway and D&D right on the end of the building we usually goto after. My friend liked the Gixxers, but I took him to some Honda dealers and he said the CBR1k's were the best fit...
Imagine, a brand new CBR1k as a 1st bike, he's never even ridden a dirtbike...LMAO.

Oh, I didn't notice the subway. Thats cool! I'll have to remember that. OMG!! 1K for first bike? Now I don't jump in with all the hype that people need to start with a 250 and move up...or even a 600. If you've got a level head you can handle bigger stuff. But 1K is extreme, and tough to get experienced on. I wish him luck though. Maybe he's cool and has no prob. You know him so I'm sure you wouldn't steer him wrong. I like 1K.

Yea its great so far terrible weather the past couple of weeks but took it out for its first extended ride last weekend. It love to rev bucks a little form 2,000 to 3,500 but I have heard thats a common issue with the 750's. So far so good. Would anyone here be down for a bike get together. I live in edison close by to a few nice places with large parking lots.

Nice. Good luck with it. Yeah, Mike Something has been trying to get people together too. We just need to pick a day and see who's avail? Last second gatherings are tough for me.
