Transferring titles..

Ok so im planning on transferring the plates from one car to another. I know the normal title fee is $46. How much is it to transfer the plates tho? I saw on the site

Registration transfer fee
$4.50, plus any prorated increase in the registration fee due to a change in weight class

Now it's in plain English its 4.50 to transfer the registration... But this is Jersey and I find it hard to believe anything that involves this state can be that cheap. Anyone can verify it's only $4.50?

title costs went up. It cost me $60.00 to get my fathers name off my title to my 96, and put me as the primary.

They may prorate the registration fee if you tranfer it too.

So im guessing the transfer of the title is 4.50 but the new initial title fee is 60?
