Think I blew up my rear.

Yeah only a matter of time with 380rwtq but it only makes noise in 5th and 6th and when I'm turning. I know it will make noise when I'm turning but shouldent it male noise in all the gears? Not just 5&6

Yeah that would be cool my friend was sitting in the back of the car and she said she heard it more in the back I think is coming more from the back of the car, but she dosent know shizz about cars. It groans real bad when turning. Although something is causing friction where it shouldn't be as I smell metal on metal burning like a worn out bearing smell.

I am pretty good at diagnosing ( spell check ) broken rear axles and trannies. I broke 4 rears in my V6 and 1 so far in the WS6. I also broke 2 5 speeds in the V6. If it is 5-6th gear it might just be Gear whinning and grinding noise. Mine use to do that above 55 mph. It would howl and then Grind and when you are making turns gets louder. Turned out to be a bad Axle bearing on the Passenger side of the axle. I will call you when I get up tomorrow. Looking forward to sleeping in for a change.

Thats what happens when you get beat down by ricers!! **** starts breaking!!

I'll bite, how do you know?

I was going to say "make noise when I'm turning" sounds like outer axle bearings, easy fix, but now I'm guessing you have more info to share.
