I dont know about strange going downhill but I still believe them to better than Moser and their tq arm issues. I need a 12 bolt too and its a lot of $ to get a decent one it seems.

I dont know where you are getting your information from but Strange has some of the best products available. They also have excellent support after the sale should there ever be a problem.. These are the main reasons we decided sell Strange over Moser or Mark Williams..

S60 FTW
their brake kits and shocks fantastic !!!! finish & fitment perfect.

pLuS...... I'm sure Josh can get you a great deal on it.

p.s. My brothers Ws6 launches @ 6k deadhooks clicking off a 9 second run and on its 2nd year with a strange s60.

p.s. has seen about 200 track passes and beats the crap out of it on a regular basis everyday.(when there's no snow !!!)

Strange is a very good company, I have seen many people show up to the track every week without problems. I only have personal experience with Moser and they are good also, never a problem. Let me know, we can get you either one you want.

This may be off topic, slightly, but can anyone tell me who casts the center sections for these companies? In addition, can you buy a strange or moser 12 bolt f-body center section and build it up yourself?

You mean like welding on axle tubes and all the brackets. Im confused when you say 12 bolt center section. Kinda sounds like you have the 12 bolt designed mixed up with the 9 inch design.

Way more trouble than it could possibly be worth unless you have a jig lying around and or have done it numerous times before? Doubt you could source the cast iron case by itself and have it be affordable. Then you have to buy tubes, housing ends, make all the bracketry, etc etc etc and get it all correct.

Strange castings are exclusive.. I don't know about other companys. I can get a bare housing which is just the center section with axle tubes welded in it. No brake or suspension brackets or housing ends if that is what you were thinking about..

YES, moser & strange provide empty housings along with housings with axles and no diff/gears etc...
a 9" utilizes a center section along with vette rears
