Long story

Kinda long story coming

So im one of those "they wouldnt be stereotypes unless they were true to an extent" kind of guy. But sometimes those stereotypes can surprise you, in a good way. I work in AR for a nationwide company that plays middle man between the government and people with mental handicaps, we have 117 satelite offices, and i see every check that comes into this place, and trust me its a lot of goddamn checks lol. So im doing my everyday thing and come across a pretty hefty 4 figure check from a "group", calling them a 'gang' would automatically put an ugly image in your head, so i will use "group" from now on. The amount (that was made out to a non-profit org) wasnt the surprise though, it was that this "group" has a regular everyday business checking account lol. Back to the story, i dont know where to invoice this because ive never seen one from them and it didnt come with any letter or back up, so i email the regional director of that area. I get an email back saying it is a donation made every year after their annual field trip. So now im curious, and investigating is much more fun than actual work so, come to find out, every july this group brings all kids that are physically able to to a water park for the day and then afterwards they donate all the proceeds from that businesses daily 'activities' to our charity. 99% of this groups actions are questionable at best, but i know now that when they say "they give back to the community", that its not complete horse-****, maybe there is hope out there for some haha
end

p.s. no PM's
