the gas prices claim another victim
since gas prices have gotten ridiculous and from what i have read there are only going to get higher i made a decision that it was time to trade in the dodge on something a little more economical. so what did I buy you may be wondering. well i didn't buy new because i didn't want a bigger payment. so i bought a 2006 Subaru Legacy GT. I was thinking about a WRX but i couldn't find one in my price range. so this is kinda the best of both worlds, in comfortable as hell, its bigger than the WRX but its got WRX power. anyway heres a pic of it. Its nice to go from 13 MPG to 27....its gonna save me some money

That's one of my favorite cars actually. Gas prices are set to drop big time next month though by the way. Not saying you didn't make a good choice, but at least you'll be relieved a bit.
Do some searching, those cars have some really interesting hidden features. For example, they can be programmed to wish you a happy birthday and remind you of your anniversary.

My dad and I both have subbys remember when you use the ac push auto twice and it sets economy mode so it only runs at the higher rpm and saves on fuel a bit

Gas could be down to $2 a gallon and I'd STILL want to save cash on it. Good decision and nice ride.

I don't think that was ever a doubt. The drivetrain is straight out of a STI. I think the real surprise is what a few suspension mods can do to that chassis to make it handle.

Nice find, good luck with it! I was looking to compare that body-style Legacy GT to the G35x, but couldn't find one back in February. I love my G35x, but I'm sure the Legacy gets slightly better MPG.

the best part about it is that its basically a WRX with a smaller intercooler and its surprisingly quick even stock. yeah i was getting about 12 MPG in my dodge, this is EPA rated at 27, but im actually doing better than that if I drive it easy.
oh yeah and my payment is a little less and my insurance went down AND it's gonna cut my gasoline bill in half.....every penny counts
