New shocks? (03' Tahoe)

114k on the clock and my shocks are toast! Ride quality has gotten harsh since I got it with 80k. They may even be the original shocks.

Its a DD doing all highway miles and I'm just looking for a nice smooth ride. Currently if I hit a good bump or railroad track the steering gets very loose for a second like the front tires are off the ground. Otherwise its very tight and responsive.

The truck is mechanically bone stock so I'm not looking to throw high dollar shocks on there. I just want my Quality of Ride back.

Would the Napa Brand (Napa Response) shocks be worth the $28. I'm assuming they are just re-branded economy shocks for even cheaper. Or is that just pissing money away?

Thoughts?

Thanks for the direction. They ride nice. Was looking to spend less but I think it was worth it.

Bilsteins FTW! I had them in my '88 SS - loved them. Great choice indeed!
