Isn't the stock programming meant to kick the highs on at around 230? Is it not cooling down once it gets there? If it is, it sounds like normal operation. With the fan switch, you can just make them come ob sooner.

Only the low fan will kick on at 230 or so. I just installed the slp fan switch and it still gets up to around 230 with the fans on high setting running non stop.

I ran it today with the cap off and the thermostat didnt open til about 210. I was giving it a little gas while the cap was off and there was a little bit of air bubbles coming out. Im assuming the prev. owner didnt bleed the system right. As it started to get hotter (maybe 180 or 190) coolant started to spill out and bubble alittle more, then the t-stat opened and level went down and started to become turbulent. Thie isnt really my specialty so I appreciate any help. Thanks guys

I am going to check the ect sensor in the head to see if is accurate when I get a chance. I was thinking maybe the gauge is reading wrong. I dont think thats the case though
