No budget?! ... if I didn't have a budget I certainly would not be running a carb on anything I own.
Why take modern technology and go backwards?

that Baer rear kit is way to much rear brake, these cars dont need a ton of rear brake since when braking the torque arm transfers most of the weight tot he front. A huge brake kit like that one the rear will have to be dialed waaaaaaaaaaay back with a prop valve to the point where it wont even work to keep the rear from locking up and making you spin out and wreck.

also, they are fixed mount calipers on the rear, and that will not work with a c-clip axle, you will have issues with pad nockback

i have the 14" version of the front kit, its totally badass, but you will need to make sure your wheels will clear the calipers, they are huge. I paid 1k for mine.....

You would be surprised what the factory c5 or 4th gen fbody front brakes will do with a good set of pads, and cost thousands less, and will fit in almost any wheels out there.

My brain hurts trying to follow this.

What condition is the base car in? Body, paint, suspension, etc?

Would be lame on the street, get a nice lil 76gts and have lots of boost instantly. And in tank fuel pumps are so yesterday, get a cable driven magnaflow for maximal pumpage. That and some 20% over sticks with a modded CP3 pump, you should see well over 800ft-lbs by 3k rpm.

Cause a vacuum pump at 10'' is great for street use.

Reach out for a company called morgantini race engines, a friend of mine who runs on the nascar modified tour uses their motor.they will build you a motor to you needs but know this these motors are running with rear ends that have 5:7 gears of high. Another thing you can do is head over to wall speedway and talk to one the modified owners in the pits, one of them may have a modified spec motor they are looking to get off thier hands. Those guys are running with a 500hp motor and some are running with more.
