hahah yea, that vert, its a 90 eclipse i got for free. and thats right, they never made a 1st gen DSM eclipse vert. we were in the process of building that one, we made the trunk lid and rear deck in frotn of that, chassis brace under there too. It was getting Supra headlights etc. the fenders were changed and we never reattched the ground effects. Thats a miata top frame were were going to widen, once we chopped the windsheild(tape line) and notice the ricer wing, lmao. it was a build out of boredom. thats about as far as it progressed until i said screw it and parted it out. i still have that bumper... lol
and BTW, the 2 white montes are different cars. ones an 84 hardtop with an L69 motor, and the 87 ttop one got the TPI/T5 and went to black exterior, gray interior, my ex has that car now.

I was actually i think 19 in that picture, and it was taken right on that road coming out of tenafly going up to knickerbocker... cant remember the name anymore lol...
Kat... perhaps... the red vert is an 88 i bought from the original owner in vernon NJ, i put a 383 etc in it then sold the car in 2001 to cover the insurance on my 01 SS, then about 2005 i bought back the 383 from the owner and a year later the car was still sitting so i bought it back. That owner had spray painted it black(one pic u can see its red still under where the spoiler was), I then sold it to someone i think off this board in late 2005(?). So it could be.
The black '88 vert w/white stripes i bought out of Long Island and that went to someone in toms river.

yea, i whore that pic out every chance i get, probably one of the lowest static ride height f-bodys in NJ, lol.
Intrax lowering springs, advertised as like a 2"... wasn't true. I ended up with almost a 3-4" drop all around. You can see my chassis mount TQ arm crossmember hanging under the middle, with about 1" clearance. I was tucking about 1/4" of tire all around too, it was sick, no body roll at all at least, haha. I called intrax about the sag and they'll replace them for free if i send them in, i chose not to.
I still run the front springs since then and when im home in 2 weeks, im putting the rear springs back in. I changed them when i frist swapped the motor to allow header clearance while i was still adjusting them but i have since gotten the y pipe tucked up nicely.

yup that was it, that poor car, the kid i bought it back from didn't even mask stuff off when he spray painted it. And the crack in the bumper by the pass headlight was due to the original owner stopping on the side of the road to urinate and left the car in neutral(it was orig auto, he converted it to manual) and it rolled into a stop sign.
