Good Exhaust Shop?
I am looking for a good exhaust shop to have a few things welded up, I am in the Toms River area. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to the club!
Not familiar with shops in your immediate area, but Mufflex up here in Trenton does good work.

they charged my buddy crazy amounts of money and did VERY shotty work. I know people have had great experiences with them so I hope it was just that one case.

They are expensive I will say that...they are a small but very/always busy shop...I use them for having oxygen sensor bungs in for my customers since they do them very cheap. For custom stuff they are one of the better known places out there and do put good systems together for their customers. If your just having them weld a few things I think you'll be pretty pleased with their work though.

I'm for Mufflex also, especially if you want any kind of Stainless piping done.
They did my custom Y-pipe , No banging and i have better clearance than the SLP y-pipe that was on my car, It was also cheaper for me than purchasing a stainless Y That would mount up to my QTP's, But i also paid cash and made sure they knew i was paying cash when they qouted me.
There is a Guy closer to you in Manahawkin,Tuckerton area on RT 9 south bound lane on the right, right after the main drag that goes into L.B.I. which is rt73?? i think, but i forget the name of it but je does custom work and he is very familiar with F-bodys but the only custom work i have seen that he has done has been on 3rd Gen car's
I only work in that are so i don't have a phone book for the area but i do know it some sort of performance place i only ever saw 4x4's , F-bodys and Stang being worked on there check your phone book

thats what I hear mostly and have seen for the most part so I chalked the one mishap with my friends car as a one time deal.

Meinike on Brick Blvd. in Brick has done exhaust for 2 of my Mustangs and 1 Trans Am, and they came out excellent. The guy who does the work was named #1 pipe bender (is that what the title is?) in New Jersey. They warrenty their work for life, but I've had it done years ago, and mine work great! I have their number if you want.
