1978 Black WS6 W72 T Top Trans Am f/s 6500

1978 Pontiac Trans Am
Black on Black
Mileage is 77k or 177k (ie, not a low mile car, but one that has been enjoyed)
New deluxe interior w/ 40 channel CB AM /FM radio
Car currently has rebuilt 455 w/ 96 heads but comes with #’s matching W72 optioned 400 engine which has been machined and bored .030 over. 400 block has less than 3k miles. One cylinder needs to be sleeved due to a dropped valve. I can have this done. It does not cost much nor weaken the structural integrity of the block. Regarding the color of the current engine, I simply wanted to have some fun and be different. Easier to see at night is there is a problem, too. luckily , I haven't had any.
Super T-10 4speed transmission
3.42 stock GM 8.5" 10 bolt rear
Rare dealer installed Cars & Concepts T Tops
A/C (not hooked up, but complete)
WS6 performance suspension package (quick ratio steering box, stiffer springs, 15" x 8" wide snowflake rims, larger diameter rear sway bar, ect)
car in not an SE
I have the build sheet and PHS documentation for the car.

I was going to build a road racer/ G-machine out of this, but plans have changed and time has come for it to go. Car runs well and can be driven w/o issues.
Body is in decent condition overall. Rust is not extensive and can be easily patched. Rusty areas include driver's rear lower 1/4, rear floor in depression behind front seats, and some small areas in the tail panel. trunk is in good overall shape sans a couple of pencil sized holes (metal is not thin or pin-holed).
Parts not shown in pictures such as front air dam and spoiler, center caps along with some others are included in the sale.

asking 6500 as it sits. 5800 if I keep current 455 engine.

Car is located in Hackettstown, NJ

Photobucket page doesn't work.

Does the car have a NJ title?

Feather-light suspension, Konis just couldn't hold. I'm so glad I took a look inside your showroom doors.
