Cruisin' Ocean City MD May 17-20 2012

Cruisin Ocean City is national known for it's awesomness, and last year I went to experience it. Pure car guy heaven from Thursday until Sunday morning. Every American car imaginable in every state of tune, from stock to full on drag cars cruising up and down the boulevard almost 24/7. Everywhere is a car show, and it's a great time for kids of all ages (mental and physical ages ).

Below are some pictures from last year when I went.

There isn't a bad place to stay, there's stuff everywhere. It's more a matter of do you want a basic room/fancy room, and if you want quiet at some point.

So I'm looking into getting a room down there. Where's a good spot? Where's all the action? I would assume near the boardwalk but I have never been. Some info would be great on this from you guys that have been there before. Thanks in advance

Not much action by the boardwalk actually. Anything on the main drag, or the little strip parallel to the main drag near the south end of the island. It's hard to go wrong. The Executive Motel is in between the two roads.

Dunno, stupercharged stayed there last year and said it wasn't bad. I haven't checked it out. I was just giving it as a location of where the double wide action is on the two streets.

Is carousel the one with the ice rink inside? If so, I've stayed there twice and it's actually pretty nice.
