3rd gen wheels fit 4th gen?

i'm looking for cheap wheels for winter tires for my 99ss...will 3rd gen wheels fit? I can't seem to find steelies for the car anymore. thanks.

They "fit" but will stick out 2 inches on each side. It's looks like dookie.

And 15" wheels don't fit over 4th gen brakes without modifications.

thanks guys....did the 4th gen ever come with steelies? I could have sworn tirerack used to offer them with snow tires.

You can't find a cheap set of salad shooter or other basic 4th gen wheels? I find that hard to believe. You can probably get a set with some road rash for $150 or less.

yeah the rims will stick out on a fourth gen rear...my 87 iroc used to have them, looked like balls..
