2nd Gen. Exhaust

Looking at a new exhaust for a 72 z28 with a350 lt1 and a t400 trans. Has anyone replaced thiers recently? Is anyone using an H pype or an X pype style exhaust. I'm still running a dual exhaust (headers into a single muffler then 2 out) and am looking at keeping it close to original.

i had a flowmaster system on my car, it was ok, sounded like everyone elses car though.
the exhaustguys are members of the club and can get you a really good deal on a bunch of different systems. they also sell the pypes systems, they are x-pipe style and sound fantastic. they also sell magnaflow, flowmaster, and some others.

Check out Pypes they have a bunch of different exhausts. I think they have a true dual crossflow muffler as well as true dual setups. I used their tailpipes on my old 68 Camaro with a 94 LT1 in it. I was pretty happy with the tailpipe kit.

I have one of the Pypes systems. It's a 2.5" dual x-pipe system with Pro-V mufflers. I was really happy with their service and they even hooked me up with a kit for shorty headers and stainless dual tips. They also gave me the nastyz28 discount so I ended up saving quite a bit of money. You should definitley check out Pypes and listen to the sound clips they have of different cars with their systems installed.
