1982 Trans Am 23,889 original miles NJ

1982 Trans Am WS7 with 23,889 ORIGINAL MILES.
Asking $8500 or best offer!!
Car is located in central/north NJ.
Black over Goldwing Metallic with light camel cloth interior (sorry not PMD). Original paint shines up really nice.
-4 Speed manual
-T-tops
-WS7 handling package
-Original Build Sheet (see pics)
-power windows and rear hatch release.
-Everything works as it should except for a/c (windows, rear hatch release; rear defrost, etc).
-Nice pliable weather seals, no leaks.
-Nice comfortable ride (actually rides better than my 2001 WS6).

The car has been garage kept since new. It was stored from 1993 until May of this year when I bought it from the original owner. It was his wife’s daily driver from 1982-1993 when she blew the a/c compressor. Rather than fixing the a/c and driving it they parked it and bought a new car.It had a 1993 inspection sticker in the window when I bought it!

Since I bought the car I have done the following:
-Changed oil and primed the motor before cranking it.
-Valve cover gaskets.
-New plugs and wires.
-New front brake calipers and pads.
-Removed the original 15” turbo cast wheels and bowling ball caps (with the original tires) and put on 16” T/A wheels from a 86 Trans Am (painted black) with 245/50-16 tires. Both set of wheels come with the car.
-Optima Yellow Top battery.
-New hood struts.
-Nice heavy coat of wax!! ; )

The car does need a few things to be perfect.
-The a/c is still inop and will require at least a compressor and new lines
-The previous owner scraped the front bumper cover and put a small dent in the right fender when he backed out of the garage a couple years ago.
-There is a small section of the Goldwing Metallic paint along the bottom of the passenger side that needs touchup due to sitting in the same garage bay for 16 years. While the rest of the car was protected this part was in direct sunlight every day for 16 years.
-There are 3 or 4 small dings around the car which could be removed using a paintless dent removal company.
-There is a wear mark on the driver side carpeting where someone’s shoe wore through the carpet. They opted not to buy floor mats for the car when they bought it…
-There is some discoloration of the interior plastic in the rear cargo area due again to sitting in the same spot for 16 years.

See link below for more, higher quality pictures. Also, I know my thread count here is a little low. I’d be happy to supply references from other boards (Turbo Buick boards) or Ebay(username/RamAir5.7.

Thanks for looking!!

Hope it works out for you.

Just remember, make sure the payment clears first before you ship the car. Plenty of schemes that have been written about on the board concerning cars shipped and payments cancelled.

Oh yeah, there will be ground rules. I'm well aware of the many scams that are perpetuated on unsuspecting, if not naive people out there. This guy seems legit and I will DEFINITELY have cash in hand before I deliver the car to the docks.

Thanks for lookin out though!

If anyone is interested, this car may be going back on the market if my buyer doesn't resolve some issues quickly.
